Sushant Singh Rajput (1986-2020)❤
Is it possible to not know somebody personally but to take their demise as a personal loss?
Yesterday I cried. My hands started shaking as I read the news. Who was Sushant Singh Rajput to me? What had he done for me? Well, he gave me something valuable. He gave me hope. He made me believe that no dream is too big or far fetched only if you don't give up. It takes gut to drop out of engineering after cracking AIEEE, to become an actor. I had always seen him as a fighter. I have been following his feed for long enough to say that he was different from all the other so called celebrities. He had a mind to think. If you read his captions, you'll realise that he was someone with thoughts, ideologies and intelligence. It's funny how we end up talking, thinking and writing about people after they are gone. It's a shame really.
It's always said that the most important relationship is the one you share with yourself. But what if that relationship gets shaky at a point? What do we do then? Mental Health is not a joke. A person can be at his absolute best infront of you and still be depressed. It's a medical condition for god's sake. Just like Covid-19. Will you tell a Covid-19 positive person to just be happy and content with what he has achieved in life to fight it? No. Absolutely not. Then why is Mental Health such a taboo? Everybody has a weak moment in life, a moment of helplessness. It's at that exact moment, when you need someone to talk to, something just to take your mind off all the negativity. Nobody wishes to be dead. It's when we are at our lowest that we say or do these things. Suicide is not an answer but what if that's the only option available to you at your weakest moment? Will that still be giving up on life or simply surrendering to that one weak moment? To everyone saying that suicide is coward, well shame on you! The next time you say or even think that, try pinching a needle in your finger, you coward!!
Sushant, thankyou for being yourself in this fake world. Thankyou for being so passionate about what you do. Thankyou for making us believe. Yes, that's what you did.
You made me believe.💕🌼
