I set on a sail through the sea
Of my infinite dreams and uncertainties
In search of a sacred land
Made of diamonds and golden sand
With no evil or jealousy within its bound
Where love prospers and respect is found
So while destiny’s hand wrote our fate
We happily soared towards the gate
Of a land within my sight
That was glistening like skies at night
I ran to you and held your hand
And cried happily, ‘We have found our sacred land,
A land that will fulfill all our desires
Where we will stay till we reach our pyre’
Although I could not understand
Why your hands were trembling in my hand
But excited as I was on reaching that place
I hold you tight within my embrace
And as I stood there hypnotized by your gaze
A wave of emotions was being raised
Somewhere deep within my heart
A sweet turmoil was about to start
And with both my hands on your cheek
When our lips were about to meet
I noticed it within your eyes
Fear, guilt and tears of lies
As ship anchored by the shore
I could hear a distant roar
Of soaring sea and waves high
Telling me the stories of all your lies
That the diamonds, love and golden sand
Were all part of a grand-
-Lie told by a cruel heart
And that finally we have to part
I was then able to clearly see
The omens that now warned me
Of an illusion strange and cold
That has now got me within its hold
My heart sank and suddenly the world seemed dark
It was like I have lost the spark
That kept me alive and encouraged me to fly
All of that was about to die
Gone were the diamonds and the golden sand
And all the goodness from that land
A land where love used to prosper and rule
Now hungry evils dine and drool
And what was once land of golden mound
Was now nowhere to be found
Instead there stood a piece of barren earth
With no life and air full of dirt
And while the dirt choked me to lifeless state
I felt betrayed by my fate
As my life revolved before my eyes
I could hear the distant cries
Of all the men who care for me
But among those men I searched for thee
Then a silhouette appeared before my eyes
As I heard my soul gasp and cry
Though I struggled to see with all my might
An evil blackness now covered my sight
I also heard a distant rhyme
It was death playing its chime
My soul was then dragged to a cart
As it tried to hide beneath my heart
But a soaring pain cut through my breast
As my soul was brought to crest
It struggled but all attempts were in vain
And my soul cried in extreme pain
As it was tortured and dragged beyond the veil
I knew that it was carried to hell
The air then echoed evil’s wicked mirth
When my body fell on that barren earth
And as I am being buried beneath that mud
My heart is unable to control the flood
Of all the tears and cries of agony and pain
In remembrance of a love that went in vain.
